| A beautiful Royal China The Old Curiosity Shop 5 1/2 inch Berry, Fruit Bowl or Dessert Bowl.  During the 1950's Royal China started Manufactured this interesting Sage Green Dinnerware Pattern.  It features authentic reproductions of old world traditional scenes and was inspired by Charles Dickens novel "The Old Curiosity Shop".  If you are ever in London, I am told the actual antique shop that is featured on the Dinner Plate and in the novel still exists on Portsmouth Street where it has stood since 1567. The Old Curiosity Shop like most other Royal China patterns was sold through many retail outlets and given away as premiums in supermarkets, etc.  It was made in  Green, Pink, Blue and Black but Green is the color that seems to have survived the test of time and is readily available to Collectors. This is ultimate collectible Dinnerware - collected since the 50's and still very popular today. Condition: Excellent Vintage Preowned!  Look unused.  Beautiful!    NO chips, cracks or crazing.    The Royal China Company manufactured dinnerware in Sebring, Ohio from 1934 to 1986. The company had various owners after 1969 including the Jeanette Glass Corporation and Coca-Cola. They produced a large variety of dinnerware patterns (over 1400).
